Important Notice

The new registration portal is here! Visit https://ConsumerCompliance.FDACS.gov for instructions on how to create your account and get started!

Health studios are required to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) annually and, in some cases, to post a $25,000 surety bond, letter of credit or certificate of deposit. The purpose of this security is to reimburse members if the studio fails to meet its contractual obligations to its members.

The law authorizes FDACS to collect registration fees. Penalty fees are imposed on studios that do not register or post security.

Please Note: FDACS does not review the content of contracts when processing applications for licensure. It is recommended you seek legal counsel to ensure these documents are in compliance with Florida Statutes.
